poetry for adults…

funny, short poems

short poems to make people smile for a while. In a world so serious, it’s nice to chuckle to yourself for a minute.

about mumbles

Born and bred in the depths of SE London (well, Kent but London sounds edgy), I write short comedy poems for adults who prefer their humour slightly uncomfortable.

I’ve been described as the John Cooper Clarke of the brainrot age and even the village idiot… to be honest, I’ll take either.

Most of what I write lives somewhere between stand-up and spoken word. It’s about dating, work, social awkwardness, mild existential dread and the general absurdity of modern life.
